Job Title: Library and Community Engagement Officer

  • An enthusiastic  approach in the provision of Library services to meet the needs of different community groups.

  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise, consult and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed computer proficiency across a range of applications; knowledge and skills in current technology
  • Ability to assist customers and staff in the use of this technology

Qualifications:
  • Completed or studying the Diploma of Library and Information Services from TAFE or a related field.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol competency.

Other: 

  • Demonstrated understanding of WH&S and EEO principles.
  • Clearance to work with children as required under the Working with Children Check.
  • Current Class C vehicle licence. 
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake the physical requirements of the position
  • Permanent full-time role working at the different Library service points and includes evening and weekend shifts.
  • long service leave after 5 years
